Hi! I am Jordan Bockert, a 17 year old girl taking life by the reins as I am faced with fun and new challenges throughout my school and career life. I am currently a senior in high school with a 4.5 GPA, as I take honors and AP courses. After I graduate, I will be attending a 4-year university with a major in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Naval Science. While obtaining my degree, I will also be apart of the Naval ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program, so after college I can be commissioned into the Navy immediately as an officer.
My plan is to use this blog as a platform to share my experiences and ideas with parents of teenagers hoping to gain insight, and possibly a young girl with dreams and in need of inspiration. Currently I hold the title of Teen Miss. Lakeside 2019 (as well as being former Miss. Teen Santee) , so with that and this blog I think I can also convey the message of empowerment and kindness. I feel as if I can use my voice to be a positive influence and role model in not just my community, but also the world. I hope to touch on setting goals, hard work, female empowerment, and advocating for a kinder atmosphere.
