About Me

Hi! I am Jordan Bockert, a 16 year old girl taking life by the reins as I am faced with fun and new challenges throughout my school and career life. I am currently a junior in high school with a 4.6 GPA, as I take honors and AP courses. Along with academics, I am a tri-sport varsity athlete in field hockey, basketball, and track (hurdles & sprints). My passion has become running and I hope to one day soon get recruited, so I can compete on a collegiate level. Outside of sports and school, I spent years doing theater, singing, and dance, which I fell in love with and will always have a major respect for the arts. On top of theater, I have also taken part in modeling, girl scouts for 6 years, and work with a marine biologist. I aspire to go to a four-year university with possible majors in marine biology, communications (editing), or veterinary science. Yes I know it’s a broad spectrum, but hey I’m only 16 and there’s so many amazing career paths to choose from!
My plan is to use this blog as a platform to share my experiences and ideas with parents of teenagers hoping to gain insight, and possibly a young girl with dreams and in need of inspiration. Currently I hold the title of Miss. Teen Santee 2018, so with that and this blog I think I can also convey the message of empowerment and kindness. I feel as if I can use my voice to be a positive influence and role model in not just my community, but also the world. I hope to touch on setting goals, hard work, female empowerment, and advocating for a kinder atmosphere.
